FOOD: (B+) lots of variety of them; delicious; many desserts; a few exotic [alligator fritters, frog legs]; pizza & ice cream 24/7; great selection of teas to make; hot chocolate maker avail.; creative mixed drinks avail.too.Bartenders were not intrusive & careful, & respectful if one said "no."

ENTERTAINMENT; (A+)  Shows have great singers & dancers with lots of quality choreography & "cool" costumes, performers were exuding  positive energy/smiles; comedy shows were very humorous available in age appropriate categories [fam. & adult],--announced clearly to audiences@beginning. Lots of very talented bands/singers presenting various styles of music.  Fun game shows-- for fam. & adult audiences.Big deck dance party lead by staff followed by yummy Mex. buffet. Lots of fun things to do on board much of the time.

SHIP: (B+) Very clean mostly; Very pretty lounges,  bar & dance lounges open a lot. Lots of windows around perimeter for inside viewing of the ocean. Lots of decks/ space to see the coastal views of ports. Clear maps near elevators to guide passengers--so helpful !! Updated, quality speaker systems for music & announcements--very nice. The carpets, & cabin look clean, pleasant, & appealing. Pools & hot tubs cleaned & pretty[& popular]. Lots of signs so one knows where one is--helpful on a big ship.

STAFF: (A) Friendly, attentive, lots of them; & personable; & competent;  worked to keep things clean & repaired; had positive attitudes a lot of the time. Looked like they were working to keep up w/their duties.

I took this same cruise  & ship 2 months ago & it keeps getting better; it was good the 1st time. I will have taken similar cruises FOUR times this winter ['14-'15] w/Carnival.by the end of the winter. The cruise can be both fun & relaxing, depending on what you want out of it, or whatever suits your mood/schedule each day.  I don't disembark at the ports of call, because I have lots of fun on board; & have been to these ports beforehand.  However it is still lots of fun & relaxing to stay on board & just enjoy the food, music, & views on big beautiful boats like this one. Carnival Cruise lines sets an atmosphere of fun & enjoyment on their cruise ships in many ways.

Ship Tip

The ships are big, so try to familiarize yourself w/it through a walk through it, maps, etc. There are clear & helpful maps near each main elevator, if you need directions or guidance. Carnival has a daily paper of on board activities w/lots of info./fun stuff.
