So so cruise

Sail Date: May 23, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The food was not very good. Most of the staff did not speak English well and were indifferent and in some cases downright unfriendly. We were dropped off at Key West at 8am. NO ONE was there. The stores were CLOSED. We basically walked around a deserted downtown for 1.5 hours and we only had 5 hours in port!

Overall, not a very good cruise!

Pros: Loved Cozumel

Cons: Staff was indifferent and not friendly

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.

Ship Quality
The ship's decor is very dated. Some of the rugs are worn.
Food and Dining
Good was not very good. Not a lot of selection.

Especially bad was the fact that we returned around 8:30pm from Cozumel. That was after our dining time. We attempted to go eat at the other dining area that had a late dining and WERE TURNED AWAY!! We were starving and there was NOTHING WORTH EATING!!
Service and Staff
Most staff did not speak English. Not very friendly.
Children's Programs
Key West, Florida
I loved Key West. We didn't have enough time there.
