Rated low because shows were cancelled throughout cruise due to very rough seas heading down to islands from MIA.

There were a lot of sick passengers due to viruses going around. Wish Carnival had put more energy into disinfecting.

It was a spa balcony cabin and was no different in size than other balconies. The difference was we had access to the spa amenities included.

Ship tip

Always bring Lysol bleach wipes to wipe down everything in your cabins/bathroom etc.

Not sure what happened but it was quite the cluster! Unusual backups outside the normal disembarkation slowness. Something may have happened but unknown to me.

We were on this cruise and also got sick. We missed excursions in Aruba and Puerto plata because of that. We even carefully wiped down our cabin before moving in. Must have picked it up on the trip to Miami or the shuttle to the ship. Like someone said, sometimes it happens even with the most careful precautions. We tried to make the best of it and still enjoyed the cruise!

Glad you had a good time got the most part. When that many people are sick, and I think it’s on a lot of ships, there’s only so much sanitizing they can do and not really help. Cruising is still the best vacation ever.
