Review summary
While on the cruise I received a note on my receipt when I tried to get a drink on my drink package using my sign and sail card stating that I had a balance of $4.17 in Port taxes that needed to be paid prior to me receiving any drinks. I went to customer service to resolve the issue. The line was an hour wait. So, someone suggested using the kiosk (there are only 2 on the boat). I waited about 25 minutes in line only to discover the kiosk would not accept two different credit cards. But it was more than willing to accept my debit card. Problem resolved! Not so fast! One of the Bartenders/Servers decided they wanted to give themselves 2 changes for $96 as a gratuity without my authorization. I tried to contact Carnival about the issue. But their process requires you to email to the abyss called questcare@carnival.com and you cannot speak to a person. But if you want to book a cruise they are more than willing to answer the phone. I tried to go through my bank which by the way Truist is the worst ever since the takeover of BB&T. But that’s my issue. Lesson learned the $192 hard way is: NEVER, EVER give Carnival your debit card or this will happen to you!!!!!Embarkation
