Review summary

The cruise was fine. Nothing special. The crew was nice and the best cruise director we have ever had. The quality of the room stewards and wait staff has declined over the years cruising ever since going to automatic tipping. The shows were just ok - nothing great. Alot of kids running the halls too. People need to parent and control their kids.

The staff was nice but the buffets were very crowded and hot too. Dinner was nice but the food was not anything special.

Fitness center was fine. Not many activities by the pools. Alot of Trivia for non pool members and that was nice.

The shows were just ok. Did not love many of them. Just average.

Waiters were fine but nothing special. I don't like they are not writing down the order but using the phones - took longer to take order. Room Steward was ok - only saw him once a day and he was never really present. I think since the cruise ships have gone to automatic gratuity the service and quality has gone down.

I agree with the advance gratuity’s , after ow just going on our 80th cruise with carnival , the tip,s have gotten carried away , Many guests don’t even see their steward until their last day , and the stewards figure they will get their tip wether they show up or not ! WRONG! I wait till the end. To tip . If they are no good , then Nothing ! If real good. Then I over tip ,
