Carnival Horizon and the 8 day southern Caribbean cruise was a good choice for our family.

We purchased Faster to the Fun, and it was a good purchase for us. We got to pick a 30 min arrival window and our check in was seamless. We truly were Faster to the Fun!

The ship was crowded, and being a July sailing, had lots of kids on board. The wait staff in the main dining rooms were very friendly, but tasked very heavily. Food was good with many choices, but we have had much better on other cruises.

The wait staff in the main dining rooms were very friendly, but tasked very heavily. Food was good with many choices, but we have had much better on other cruises.
Ship Quality

Ship was laid out nicely. The elevator system took a little time to get used to as there are no buttons inside the elevator. You input your deck destination on a panel outside the elevator and are assigned an elevator. It was pretty efficient once you get used to that system.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size was adequate for an inside cabin. It was clean and well maintained by Whayu, our stateroom attendant.
We had the Ocean cabana for our seven guests. Nice way to relax and get out of the sun if needed. Pool on site was great! We had free wi-fi included with the cabana, and were able to catch up on e-mails and facebook, and make some internet calls to friends back home.
Faster to the Fun was the way to go for this as well. No issues getting off. We did arrive at a different terminal, but there were shuttles to take us to our car.
