The hold that you put on my account for $853 is completely unacceptable. I only owed you $357 which was also taken out. The hold you put on my account for the additional $853 caused my account to be overdrawn. The entire experience should have been better organized, especially getting off the ship. In addition to the disorganization, it was very hot and my wife almost passed out. You really should be more careful. I would not recommend Carnaval Cruise to anyone and I will not be doing a Carnaval Cruise again

Don't! Because they will put an $800 hold on your account that will cause your bank account to be overdrawn. And there's no one you can talk to about it! All you can do is send an email which only generates an automatic response. Completely unacceptable!
I was a cost at every 5 ft by someone trying to sell me something! There was no beach accessible and there was nothing to do except by merchandise I didn't want! Or weed! I really did not enjoy this part of the trip.
The beach was beautiful when we finally told the driver we wanted to go. We were misled by the person running the buses. He told us that we would be taken to the beach. However, he lied to us. We ended up on a tour bus. We never would have made it to the beach if we had not mentioned it to our driver. She was very kind.
It was completely disorganized and horrible! We almost missed our flight because it took so long to get off the ship. I have never had an experience. Terrible! And we paid for a bus but we couldn't get on the bus that we paid for because we missed it!

It's your bank that does the hold. Carnival tells them to release as soon as the get balance due. It's your bank who can hold for 10 days. Next time put cash on your account. All cruise lines will do thus. And, get a flight after 12...that is always recommended.
Sounds like you had an awesome time all around. Might want to check with the other cruise lines about what they put on hold before you book with them and you may be surprised. And when the other cruise lines stop at those ports, they MAKE SURE there is a beach right there and noone talks to their guests. .
