We enjoyed our cruise, just be flexible and patient. There are a lot of folks there enjoying their vacation, too. Covid is still out there so, use common sense. They provide hand sanitizer stations all over, use them. We have another cruise next month (different ship) so, keep calm and cruise on!
Embarkation

Process was relatively sooth. We used Verifly to prove vaccination and current required testing, that was faster than I expected.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I was disappointed in the variety and quality for the buffet food. Most days you could get most of the same things offered in the MDR from the buffet. Desserts were very limited.
Guy's Burger Joint

Had a couple selections of specialty burgers and you can add extra toppings at the condiment station.
The Carnival Deli

Have a lot of menu choices. Mine was pre-made when I ordered it. They just heated it up.
Seafood Shack

It's a cook as you order so naturally it takes a couple of minutes for them to cook it. Quite a bit of food for the cost.
RedFrog Rum Bar

Great drinks, fast service
Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que

The have a free lunch menu. The supper we had was great. I also had a craft beer from the brewery.
Onboard Activities

The Skyride and ropes course were fun. The waterslide and kids waterworks were great. The pools were overfilled so, we avoided them. The hot tubs were full and they did not enforce "adults" only. Went to the Serenity deck once and it was also overcrowded and a few kids were present.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We went to 2 stage shows and were disappointed in the production so, we didn't go to anymore. The music and djs were okay, a bit repetitive on the Lido deck.
Carnival Seaside Theater

Showed recent movies
Service and Staff

Although they were short-staffed, those who worked were working hard. Our room steward "Nana" was excellent. He remembered out name and spoke directly to us each time we saw him.
Ship Quality

Areas were kept clean, staff members were everywhere making sure everything was kept tip-top.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room had 2 full-size closets and a closet with 3 drawers and 3 shelves. There is a hairdryer in the room that works when you hold the button down. There is only 1 outlet in the whole room and it is in the room by the mirror. We took a small power strip w/o a surge protector (surge protectors are not allowed. We stored all our suitcases under the bed. There is a couch in the room that can be used as a bed. There is really not enough room in there to separate the "king" bed into twin beds. The balcony has 2 chairs and a small table, just big enough for 2 people. The bathroom has several shelves for storage. The shower is small with a shower curtain. Shampoo and body wash are in a dispenser on the wall. The steward kept our room clean and supplies stocked.
Ship tip
Learn how to use the new elevator system. Once we figured it out it is much more efficient and not overcrowded. The HUB app is your guide to what's goin on, even your menus are on there (they will provide a regular menu if you ask) . Check some of the "pay" restaurants, they have a free lunch menu.
The new facial recognition, if you are traveling with a passport, speeds up the process. Getting your checked luggage was a hassle, pay attention to the debarkation # you have to see what area your luggage will be in, there will be signs on the wall.
