I generally love cruising, but with this experience I will be flying to my next vacation getaway. It was ok, but way too expensive to not have a great time.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
The staff was very organized and got everyone through the lines pretty quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was not very good at all. The buffet choices were limited and it was hit or miss if you found an entrée that you really enjoyed. The highlight of the free food offered was Guy's Burger Joint. We practically lived there for lunch because everything else seemed to bland. Also, some of the food was closed down at 6pm which made no sense to us because previous cruises supplied access to all free food until at least 8pm, so you had to rush if you didn't want to be subjected to pizza or the pitiful buffet. Oh, and only one section of the buffet was opened later in the evening.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Aside from trivia, Karaoke and the comedy club there weren't many activities to participate in that interested my family. We found ourselves bored quite a few nights. BTW, we were at sea for 4 days.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
the onboard activities were lackluster and the shows were not up to the standard that we were used to seeing with Carnival.
Children's Programs
No young children attended
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The room stewards and ship staff were very friendly. The main dining waiters weren't as friendly or attentive. We sat in the main dining hall for more than 10 minutes on a couple of occasions before the waiter came over to take our order and sometimes they would take the order of a group that arrived after we were seated.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was kept very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip
The elevators take forever, so take the stairs if you want to get to a different floor quickly.
The little marketplace setup as soon as we got off the cruise ship had artwork, souvenirs and a few stores where you could buy snacks and toiletries, but that was about it unless you booked an actual excursion.
