Not a cruise I would repeat or recommend.
I talked my sister and her husband and a few others to go on this as 1st time cruisers. They were not impressed and couldn't understand way we said cruises are awesome. My reply was- we got a bad one- sorry. And told them this is NOT the norm..there were 21 of us in our group...with 6 new

buffets seemed to have limited hours. smaller selections. Main dinning room was very good and liked the entertainment especially the magic show.
No bar in casino and others shut down real early.
Casino machines were not good- meaning they seemed to 'freeze up' or go down... no one cared how much u had when that happened and after the 3 (and final) time - I complained to all and it fell on deaf ears. Customer service said they didn't have anything to do with them.

Picture studio computers would freeze up. I did like how my pictures were Not hung on wall. This made so easy to view.
I had bought the 10 8×10 package then bought $300 more... I asked I could get 6 5×7 with 6 different poses. was told yes, this was not the case.... instead of 3 sheets, it was 6 sheets... thus very pricey. the staff just said sorry nothing they could do.

spa was good, one person there was unprofessional but manager set up for a free 5 min scalp massage and facial..
photo staff didn't know that 5x7 were same on both prints... I ordered 6 thinking 3 sheets .. as that's specifically what I asked... expensive miscommunication at $22 + a sheet

Our TV would 'stall' and you would have to shut it off/on to reset it, then remote would not function, ended up getting
new remote (battery cha ge did nothing) during the night a/c seemed to go down. AC would randomly go down throughout the day and night all over the ship.
our cabin was very clean and well prepared for us daily . I loved being in Family Cove- made it real easy for breakfast...we had 17 in our group. towards the end of the trip - the last 2 days older kids started raising cane - hiding games, remotes, being hogs with food - no parents or staff. The last night security finally showed up. kids had broke door to family cove, broke remote, hitting exit signs. running and including running into people.
Ship tip
TV & TV remotes were awful, A/C didn't work well in many areas so dress in layers
the submarine was ok, not something we would do again, not much to see.
the snorkeling shipwreck was AWESOME and the crew was great, very nice rope swing, it got lots of use. Views while snorkeling were A+
Beach was overcrowded and extremely dirty both in the water and on the beach. We were told venomous water moccasins in the water so water was not a option. A dead women washed up on shore like 500' from where we were supposed to swim.. no body showed concern... glad we were leaving. I understand things happen but the locals were so nonchalant it was scary.
was told by islanders only go to city Beach and use trusted taxi..well who am I to say. We stayed in carnivals Park which was clean, nice and inexpensive food and drinks. Kids loved the water slides. We wanted a beach and had to settle for a pool...
Take out batteries and press ON/OFF button for a few seconds. This empties the capacitor and will enable your remote to use its memory again. Replace batteries and use remote. Enjoy! 😀
I'm not really understanding .. sounds like you enjoyed the cruise... cruising isn't for everyone, maybe your friends weren't impressed because it's not for them ... also i find it un enjoyable when i sail in a large group.
So sorry you were unable to show the newbies the joys of cruising. Right now cruising seems to be hit or miss. Too bad you had “hoodlums” in the Family Harbor. I hope they had to pay for damages. Sincerely hope your next cruise is better.
