Fix elevators so that it doesn't assign 15 people to just 1 elevator. The wait was very long. Overall, I'm going to have to think weather I'll use carnival again.

Our waiter Jose at table 117 was a very hard working person. I feel he was stretched too short.

Design was fine! There needs to be hand sanitizer at top and bottom of every stairway. Everyone uses them. I only seen one stair rail getting wiped down. Possibly why alot of people on fb as well as ourselves got covid! Fix this asap or we're done with carnival
Cabin / Stateroom

Room size was fine. Balcony had paint shavings all over the floor. The room didn't get a full cleaning in the beginning. We had to ask for toilet paper, we were out day 1. Hair in the drawers. I cut my knee and blood got on the bed sheets. I folded the sheets back so blood could be seen. It took 2 more nights of sleeping on them, before they got changed. Our cleaning time was 11am, I slept in the first morning and didn't get room taken care of until day 2. I felt like I was being taught a lesson! So I rushed out of the room each morning.
Ship tip
Bring sanitizer wipes to wipe down your own room. And small refillable hand sanitizer for all areas its not readily available.
Once we were off the ship, Carnival didn't care about us anymore. We used carnival bus to get to airport. Only 1 older lady was in charge of busses. The bus drivers were all older and the luggage was too much for them, slowing down busses leaving. Stood in line for 2 hours for busses, the older lady in charge, let people just getting off the ship to board busses ahead of us. It took myself and another lady to confront the lady to tell her we'd been in line for 2 hours, we even stopped people from boarding , pointing out where the line ended. The lady in charged screamed that no one could board until my and other lady boarded first. I also noticed people who had someone taking their luggage for them had priority!!!!! People were mad!!! All these people expected tips and I thought NO! We all paid $20.99 for this mess. Carnival is greedy! We barely made our flight, any other time would not be a problem.r
We cruised on Carnival Horizon from 9-25 to 10-1 of 2022 and we absolutely loved it. However, it is true that the elevators get very packed. We actually got Covid on this trip but since we're vaccinated our symptoms are mild. Still will continue cruising!!!
We were on the same cruise and always found deck chairs. We also didn't get covid... not sure how that works... but hey... it worked for us... if the elevators were to much for you, you could simply wait for the next... here's a helpful tip... if you don't know the ship, watch some YouTube videos on how the workings of it go... it helps alot
To be fair a lot of people didn't know how to use the elevator. If they were a party of 5 they were supposed to hit the button 5x. If they only did it once, the elevator thought only 1 person was getting on. Thus, 20ppl trying to get on 1 elevator.
Sorry you had so many problems. Not sure why you need a deck chair to go swimming. To change bedding you only need to tell your cabin Stewart and there was a number in the cabin so you could call him. Why complain about the elevators, be patient catch the next one.
Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. I met “that” lady at the shuttles in April. While she doesn’t work directly for Carnival, she gives them a bad image. Hope you find a cruise line that you like. Appreciate your feedback.
