Review summary

Please don’t get my review wrong, we are still loyal to carnival and will continue to be… cruising has definitely changed… the ship felt maybe half full which was great, odd, and sometimes even kinda boring… carnival has definitely gotten more pushy on upselling in the shops, spa etc…

Main dining room was excellent… buffet, steakhouse and jijis Asian kitchen left a lot to be desired

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

The steak was so undercooked it wasn’t even warm inside for the 3 of us in our group…. Luckily this was a casino park so we didn’t pay for it but overall the steakhouse was subpar to any other carnival steakhouse we have visited thus far

Too small for the ship… absolutely cramped and hard to walk around the smoking area… bring my freaking bar back 😡

Waiters straight up lied to us about pricing on Half Moon Cay…. We bought a 6pack of corona beer and were charged $123…. We took this to guest services and were told that’s just the price on the island…. Absolutely in-freaking-sane

Ship Quality

Ship was IMPECCABLY clean and crew members were absolutely on it when it came to this… everyone around the entire ship they were constantly cleaning… like I’ve never seen before… the layout of this ship totally sucks… for example The mens room closest to the casino is a floor above… and DEFINITELY DEFINITELY missed the casino bar… not real impressed with the LED tornado thing in the atrium… am I crazy for missing that Gawdy over the top decor of the older ships?

Our balcony cabin was excellent and in an excellent location… we absolutely loved our room steward Neyoman ❤️❤️❤️

The thrill theater and imax are super hard to find… I believe both are on deck 6…

Beaches are absolutely stunning… the inland areas are pretty rough tho… the people weren’t very friendly to us… and there were a tonnnnn of jelly fish on the beaches

Thanks for the review, always ask price before purchasing, and the staff in the shops and spa are not carnival employees
