Review summary

Our itinerary was completely changed due to covid, BUT Carnival didn't have to replace our ports and could have done a cruise to nowhere but they still showed us a great time. They gave each cabin a $200 obc at bedtime the night before we disembarked. It wasn't the ports we signed up for but it was still fun.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Guys burger joint was amazing! Pig & Anchor wasn''t as good as I was expecting (free lunch) but it was good! MDR was I''ll say a 3.5 out of 5 for breakfast and dinner. Buffet areas were ehhhh 2.7, the chocolate muffins are the must get thing!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We did mini golf, it was fine. We saw ppl doing the sky ride, looked fun but the line was always long.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Comedy shows were good- 4 Celestial strings- 5!! Shows that I forget the names- 5....they were just all great! DJ- Was pretty ok... NEED steel drum players more often though! They did have steel drum players and I''ll give it a 5 as well. Pan Guru is the best though and he wasn''t there. The newleywed show...HILARIOUS!! Not appropriate for kids at all though!

Children's Programs

Didn''t take kids

Service and Staff

Our room steward was VERY on top of things, we saw him ANYTIME we were going to or from our cabin, super friendly and did a great job! Our waiters were amazing!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great layout! The crew sure had their work cutout for them with the cleaning because there were so many angry passengers that they were pretty much rioting and TRASHING the ship the whole time. They were putting cheeseburgers in the handwashing stations, throwing whole plates of food down the beautiful staircases, sprinkling chip crumbs down the hallways. These ppl were outta control.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a Family Harbor aft view cabin. LOVED it!! If you''re getting a balcony cabin, get an aft view cabin!

Ship tip

Get trip insurance (NOT through Carnival) through your travel agent OR email me Tema Jordan at tpi.sunset.escapes@gmail.com Insurance is very important and reasonably priced! It'll cover your flights, delayed flights, lost or delayed baggage, missed ports, medical and so much!
