Review summary

We decided to give Carnival another try and were told that the ship and staff would be different on a longer cruise. I can assure you the staff, food, and overall experience were not worth the money paid.

Main dining room food was cold, low quality and nothing to write home about. The buffet was lack luster, small, and not good quality.

The only good service was from the room steward. The rest of the staff was short and rude.

The ship was surrounded by security staff, I'm sure for our protection. The wife and child did not feel safe at this port. We only got off to do the port shops as a result and the people there was extremely pushy.

Just got off the Pride and it was another awesome cruise, sailing on the Magic in 75 days and the Horizon in 320 days, looking to book another sailing on Carnival for early 2021, always a great vacation with them.

I was on this same trip and thought the exact same thing. This was my second carnival trip and I think I’m done. The service was awful. The lido deck was way too loud, food and garbage everywhere.
