Review summary

Sima in the spa did a great job! I did however feel the spa experience was all about the bottom dollar and not so much about me as the cruiser enjoying myself and trying to relax. Warren at the serenity bar was awesome at making mojitos, Danni at pig and anchor made the best dirty martinis. Cesar with the fun squad was very entertaining jefferson can really play the guitar.

The meridian restaurant for breakfast was nice, the reflection restaurant for dinner was amazing. The buffet was sub par.

The seating om deck 5 in the back is absolutely horrible you can hardly see anything that is going on. You have to get seats in the front or just dont bother going, as you cant enjoy seeing the show.

Trivia was held here and was fun with Cesar hosting, the Horizon band was great. Horizon continental buffet was nice and the ocean plaza bar was good too!

Pools were subpar not big enough, not enough pools or hot tubs for the amount of people on the ship.

Serenity deck was ok needs more hot tubs and more clam shell loungers. The bar was great, but needs to be open longer hours. Warren the bartender was amazing!

The shows were ok. The comedy was good, need more pg show options for adults. Only a couple to choose from.

Our steward (ketut) was awesome. 2 of my favorite bartenders were Danni and Warren. Jefferson and the Horizon band were great. Cesar from the fun squard was the best!

Ship Quality

The ship was very clean. There are a few design things that were bothersome, 1) the basketball court is directly over the Italian restaurant and all you can hear is pounding from basketballs. When at the tides pool there was blavk soot blowing from the smoke stack finns. Definitely need latger pool and a couple more hottubs! More floors that walk through, the lido market place stunck so bad like vomit, urine. Sweat that was old and musty, made me want to hurl. I couldn't eat at the buffet because of the smell!!!

Our cabin was nice, need a bit of dusting hight up m. But was clean overall.

Ship tip

Learn the ship, find the secret decks. Go and explore the ship early in the morning like 5am, so much fun!

I had similar experiences in the Spa on other Carnival ships. Makes me stressed at the end of what should be an relaxing experience. But isn't the Horizon great? !!
