Review summary

Our cruise on Horizon was great value for how big our party was. It’s probably the last carnival Cruise for me for a while tho for a myriad of reasons. It was fun to sail her while she was the flagship. Now it’s on to bigger and better ships :)

Embarkation

Super fast even without faster to the fun. It seems like they have perfected embarkation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The Cruise was wonderful, but my family and I definitely agreed that carnival has definitely taken a step back in their food offerings. However, Cucina del capitano was delicious.

Had a starboard balcony cabin. It was wonderful.

Ship tip

Sail her during the slow season when kids are in school to avoid the massive crowds during school breaks.

Disembarkation

Carnival has figured out embarkation, they need to spend some time and resources rethinking debarkation because it was a jumbled mess :(
