Review summary

We enjoyed the Horizon. We haven't been on Carnival since 2015, instead we have been on RCCL the past 3 cruises and decided to go back to Carnival's newest with our 19 & 21 old kids. Glad we did. Did not disappoint, except the Marketplace (buffet). I will say the options were limited, but we learned to adapt. They offered plenty (free alternatives) for breakfast/lunch. So went elsewhere and did a mix of MDR and specialties for dinner. Cruise director was phenomenal, kept us laughing all week. Personnel was always eager to please and very pleasant! They were constantly cleaning the ship. Elevators were fast and new system worked well, not understanding why people complain. Trust me, after being on Oasis class ships this was a welcome change! We booked Horizon for next year. The ship is beautiful and did not disappoint.
