This is my 6th cruise with Carnival and it gets better each time. I’m already planning my next one on the Mardi Gras. The only disappointment was the photo gallery. Takes too long to pick and purchase photos. I say go back to the printed picture walls, Easier and more fun.

Embarkation gets better and better each time I cruise. I was disappointed that I missed out on the faster to the fun program but we didn’t need it. We were on board just as quickly.

Lido is where I spend most of my time and it was great. The little cabanas were nice to sit, visit and dip your toes.
The sport square was a fun area for adults and my older kids. Corn hole games, ping pong and full size basketball courts were lots of fun as well as the sky ride and rope course

I have to say this was the only thing I was disappointed about. Previous cruises you could go find your pictures..pick what you wanted, pay and go. I selected all my favorite pictures on the carnival hub app, thought I’d be able to select all and pay.. not the case. Had to select them all one at a time. Pick a package and pay. It took me 2 hours to purchase photos. Carnival, go back to the printed picture walls. It was much easier and more fun.

All staff on board Horizon were fantastic. All friendly. Our dining room waiter was a highlight very entertaining, he came in midway through the cruise so I can’t remember his name. Daniella our room steward did an amazing job.

Daniella was excellent, cabin always nice and tidy and the towel animals were really cute. First cruise I’ve been on where there was a fridge in the room. Always love the balcony rooms. Ordered room service and sipped my coffee or mimosa on the balcony in the mornings. Note: order your champagne the night before and put it in the fridge, then order orange juice with your room service.
Ship tip
On any cruise my advice is order the morning continental breakfast room service. That way if you have an early shore excursions you can have cereal, toast and coffee as you get ready and won’t have to fight crowds at the lido buffet.
Grand Turk is beautiful. This was my second time visiting. You don’t need to book a shore excursions here. The beach, pools and shopping are all by the docks. My first trip here we did the catamaran snorkel cruise, had a fantastic time.
We did the Hato Cave and Snorkel on the west side of the island. Beautiful beach and the flamingos were neat to see in the wild. Our tour guide was super cute and very excited and proud of her county.. I love to hear about the history.
Aruba was my favorite stop. We did a catamaran snorkel excursion and to my surprise we were snorkeling over a WW2 Shipwreck. This was so amazing I’d recommend it to anyone and I will definitely be going back. The people were friendly and fun. The island was beautiful.
Did the extreme zip line. Staff there were friendly and fun. The cruise terminal is nice, you can shop and have cocktails. Didn’t see much else because our tour lasted most of the day but the island is beautiful green.
Debarkation was easy and fairly quick. Our group was held for a period but that wasn’t carnival it was the port. We were already off the ship. Others in my group got off the ship really quick.
