Review summary

this is a great cruise for people who like to have fun and party and dance. kids and teens will have fun but so will older adults.

Embarkation

was quick, didnt have to wait very long. there was an issue with one checkin; we had checked in for the carnival transport from the airport. we then went through 4 different check in points each checking our boarding pass. at the last one the attendant said my daughter's boarding pass wasnt checked so she couldnt get on. turns out she was wrong and we boarded but still it upset my daughter.

Food and Dining

i absolutely love the food on Carnival, from Guys burgers to the main dining room to the Italian place. It is all delicious. I was disappointed with the grand marnier souffle. I loved that dessert last cruise and couldn't wait to have it again, yet this time they did not give any sauce to pour on the dessert. it just wasn't the same.

Onboard Activities

we loved the trivia, even won a ship on a stick 😊 we played bingo, my daughter loved the sky course and sky ride. mini golf was also fun.

the stage shows were great, loved the singing and dancing.

we loved camp ocean. i checked my daughter in and she had a great time with crafts and movies. then i would pick her up when she was ready. she also did the night owls which is a cost but it is worth it. we did the build a bear party which the kids loved and they did the trick or treat and halloween party.

Service and Staff

we loved our waiters cant remember all their names but Phillip, Ramon to name a couple, our room steward always spoke with us and kept our room wonderful (Natan) and the other shop personnel were so friendly and fun. we loved the fun squad (Lindsey and especially Danielle) and the Cruise director, he kept things great.

i think the ship layout was great. I do believe that the elevators could be better. we had to wait 20 mins sometimes and then we would just end up walking the stairs instead. the common areas were kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

the cabin was very comfortable not too small. it had 2 bathrooms which i wish had another toilet in but thats ok. the beds were comfortable and it was clean. liked looking out the window. didnt really stay in room too much though. at this room though you will hear anytime the ship hits a wave, sounds like a big boom. also you will hear staff moving.
