It is impossible to get me on a bad cruise. There was a big fight onboard one day and some people got kicked off in Aruba but it had no negative impact on our cruise experience.

Only got in the pool once when ported at Grand Turks because we have been there many times before. Our favorite area at first was 11 Aft because my husband smokes. Was pretty secluded at first. As the days progressed more people started hanging out there. Our next favorite was smoking side of deck 5. Beautiful lounging area.
Entertainment

Really enjoyed Horizon Wireless and the 3 Hotspots. The young lady singing and playing the guitar in the atrium was very nice. The young ladies playing the violins in the atrium were very talented also. Cookie and Leo kept us laughing
Children's Programs
No children with us
Service and Staff

Our room steward Oscar and his assistant Popacho were excellent and very attentive. We had YTD so didn't get familiar with the dining room staff on nights when we went to the dining room. Everyone was extremely friendly and curteous
Ship Quality

Very clean ship. Horizon is an extremely large ship so there is a lot of walking. Is pretty but we prefer the glass elevators and openness of the older ships. It helps you get a glimpse of areas to go and explore. The new elevators were our least favorites. The common areas seem smaller than on other ships. We have been on the Dream so compared to it that's why I say this. A lot of areas were extremely hot. Pretty much gave up putting on makeup because when you enter one of those hot spots it was a wrap
Cabin / Stateroom

Was fine for interior. Seems like some closet space was reduced. Very clean and air conditioner blew cold, just like we like it.
Ship tip
Get ready for a lot of walking which is fine with me. Glad for the steps to burn off some of the food
Pushy vendors...didn't buy anything but a name bracelet from one vendor that wasn't being a pain. Took a $17.00 on Chu-Chu train tour through what I guess you can call town. Didn't have to pay cash. They took it off our sail&sign card but it was terrible. Rough area had police everywhere. There was nowhere to even want to stop at
Nice port. Had been there before. We took a tour which went to the Aloe Plant. Didn't buy anything cause it was very expensive. Stopped and bought some soveniers.
Got into port early. We're platinum so could have been one of the first off but my stomach was upset and didn't want to get too far from a restroom. Our shuttle wasn't going to be there until 11:30 anyway. Have facial recognition for disembarkation which speeded up the whole process
