We were concerned we would be bored out of our minds on the last two Sea Days! It was great. The final two days gives you plenty of time to relax and get some ME time in and enjoy yourself. 8 days is a great amount of time to cruise —- trust me.
Embarkation

No problem. Carnival Gues Services emailed everyone and informed them boarding will be delayed. I experienced no problems. It was great to know ahead of schedule what was going on with the debarkation from the previous cruise.

Food and Dining

The Dining rooms were good. We were seated in the rooms off the main dining area and the back of the ship through out the week. We wanted to be seated in the main dining area. Otherwise the food was good. The menu items were decent. Lobster was on the menu on the Formal nights - Sunday and Friday nights.
Specialty Restaurants: We ate at all of the specialty restaurants during the hours they were complimentary. My favorite was the Cucina del Capitano,. All of the specialty restaurants were good.
Lido Deck: Guys Burger... Is a Hands down favorite. The best burgers in the world. I think most people will agree, the first day on the cruise, the burgers were not good. By day 2 the burgers tasted like Guy's Burger. The buffet was great - no complaints. It gets a bit crowded during lunch and breakfast. Arrive early to eat with comfort.
Onboard Activities

I attended the Lip Sync contest and the two finalist was fun! The Cruise director "breezed" through the White Party. It started late and ended early. It appeared to me he was more interested in starting the Carnival Quest game. The Questt game is more geared towards cruisers who are in their 20s and 30s. The sail away party was dull. The 90's Trivia Party was pretty good. The 80's Party was ok.

I attended several shows. One of my favorite were the violin musical. The Celestial (sp?) Show was exciting! Must see! DJ Monty Mix was very good. Great play list. Tyler and Leo was a fan favorite! DJ Monty, Tyler and Leo were great with connecting with people. I loved listening and hearing how DJ Monty got his job with Carnival.

There are several times you are getting on the elevator and they are on the elevator cleaning and wiping down the doors. You feel very good about the cleanliness.

Eat at the Specialty Restaurant during the complimentary hours. The foods are delicious!
Please do not go on the tour where they drop you off down town. It’s best to do a private tour on a mini van and see the island. I did not feel safe at times. Just my experience.
Excellent!! We arrived at 1:30 pm and left at 10:30 pm. I felt safe. We stayed on the island until 9:30 pm. We had a private tour of the island and he dropped us off downtown to do some shopping. We felt very safe. We tried to catch the swinging bridge. The place is colorful and beautiful! I would definitely go again. We did not make it to the beach. A lot of exciting things to do and see in Curaçao.
At the end of the Port look for a Black Van (not parked by the Mini Van Taxis). The tour guides name is Anthony Brown aka Mr Fabulous! He has a Jamaican accent! Best tour guide yet and I have been on several cruises!! You will not regret seeking him out. Fabulous will show you a good time!
