We traveled with a group of 15, including 14 adults and a young teenager. The dining rooms did their best to accommodate us. The Havana section was perfect for our large group - there were always enough seats for us to be together, it was rarely busy, and we had the best bar waiter - Alex.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Everything flowed very smoothly and was well organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We mostly ate in the main dining room. Lots of variety and excellent service. Buffet was good, Bonsai Sushi and Fahrenheit 555 were amazing!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There was so much to do, no one should ever be bored! I enjoyed the fitness center facilities.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Celestrial Strings show was the best. Also enjoyed the comedians and the live entertainers in the Atrium and Ocean Plaza.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff were great, but Alex in the Havana pool area deserves a special shout-out! She was so much fun!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This was our first cruise, so I didn't have anything to compare to, but everything seemed very well maintained to me. Staff were cleaning constantly.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I highly recommend the Havana section. The location is super convenient (especially the cabins located on deck 5). We really enjoyed our outside deck area (different from a balcony). We were travelling with a group, and it was easy to walk along the deck to access other cabins on deck 5. It's a small enough area that you get to know your neighbors by name.
Ship tip
Even if you're not staying in the Havana section, you can sit on the pool deck and use the pool after 7 pm. It's always quiet there, so check it out! And go meet Alex - she's great!
Not much to do. We strolled around the market area for about an hour and then got back on the ship. Good place to book an excursion or find out where to take a taxi to a beach. We enjoyed being on the ship while it was very quiet.
Lovely little town to stroll around. Amazing dinner at Steak and Ribs restaurant (located on the upper level of the Rif Fort, Renaissance Mall). Wear comfortable walking shoes!
There was a back log of people trying to get off, probably from people trying to leave before they were called, but staff handled it very well. Just be patient.
