Review summary

The cruise was a good cruise in general. The destinations were exactly what I was hoping for. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating except for one incident that I called the front desk to report a back of the house bang that rattled my walls (twice) and somehow I was made to feel that my concern was frivolous rather than reassuring me that it was a normal and familiar operational event. The Service Manager insisted that he would need to write up a report which was a good thing; however, I received two notices in my door that they were trying to reach me. When I responded by going to the guest services desk, they were confused as to what I wanted when in fact, I was responding to their request. It was a bit unsettled. The trip overall was a great trip and I have no regrets.

Smooth as silk once you found the correct terminal. I would have appreciated a parking map of the specific terminals. Having never been to this port, it did take circling around to parking lot with a couple of wrong turns before finding our right location.

We only saw our room steward once in the 8 day cruise but he was friendly. Our room was pulled together but we question the degree of "cleaning". We noticed a long 5 inch hair on the shower wall near the clothesline pull. We intentionally left it to see how well the cleaning was done through the duration. Even after we have been home now about three days, we feel strongly that if you went to room 2266, that hair would still be there. No other complaints to the room. It had been refreshed often, just not necessarily "cleaned".

All common areas on the ship were top notch. Staff was ON IT but never intrusive. Bravo!
