Review summary

Very awesome cruise. The elevators are an issue....they were hard to get used to and we spent a lot of time taking the stairs because the lines were so long for the elevators. You have no idea where the elevator is at or how long it will take it to arrive. This cruise we also had problems with people reserving chairs....especially on the serenity deck....for hours with no one in them. It was hard to find a place to sit...and we often times just had to go back to our balcony to get a place to sit. Overall....amazing experience. Just need a few more tweaks.

Embarkation

The quickest we have ever experienced getting on the boat and the rooms were opened early.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Very tasty with awesome staff! Our main dining room...we had Catherine as the head "waiter" at the table and Jelena and Ahmed. We couldn't ask for any better! My sister has a severe onion allergy and Catherine got right on it to make sure that she did not get any onions.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did the bikes; putt-putt golf; dancing in a lot of the dance areas. So much fun!! Schwartz was the cruise director and he was just always busy with the crowd...being involved.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Munks was an excellent piano bar performer. Schwartz and his trivia nights of the 70's; 80's and Motown...was among the best ever seen! And the Military honor was great!!

Children's Programs

No kids.

Service and Staff

Catherine was top of the line in making sure our orders were correct in the main dining room. Jelena and Ahmed did their best too! Catherine got us up to dance at their dancing premiers in the dining room. So much fun! Then Michael was our room steward. He was amazing....our room was always spic and span after he had been there. He went above and beyond on cleaning our rooms. His towel animals were spot on!!

Ship Quality

Everything was clean and maintained. The staff worked non-stop to keep it clean and maintained. We had a slight spill in the main area and before my husband could get back with paper towels to soak it up...the staff came and cleaned it up. Amazing!

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was perfect! We loved being able to have the door open on the balcony with my sister next door. Very clean! (Thanks to Michael!)

Ship tip

There are a lot of people on the ship....but it has an amazing cruise director and is a lot of fun!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Very easy to get in and out of. Quick access to the boats.

Grand Turk Island

We did the private beach excursion...then walked into town and tasted some authentic food and shops. Hurricane ravaged once out of the ports....sad.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Loved the brick roads and the town is set up like Italy. Very nice. Got tired of being heckled over people wanting you to come in their stores...but that is what they do. So much devastation yet from the hurricanes...but they are rebuilding like crazy.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

We were shocked at the poor state of this place. Very hurricane ravaged...struggling to get back on their feet. Once you are out of the port...it is sad.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

We did an atv excursion that was awesome! I had never ridden an atv and the staff was so awesome about helping out and making sure we could ride and stay in line. Very fun! Got to see a lot of beauty and again...a lot of devastation.

Disembarkation

We went to the talk as Schwartz asked us to and it was so easy to carry our luggage off this time. So much quicker!
