Review summary

Wonderful cruise on Carnival's newest and biggest ship. 10 of us - 2 grandparents and our 2 adult kids each with 2 grandchildren. Grandchildren 16,15,14,10. None of them found the supervised activities to be useful. But there were lots of things for kids to do, so they made their own schedules. Everybody was on their own until we got together for dinner in the main dining room at 6:00 PM. Food and service were very good. Lido buffet was also good with some occasional waiting lines. Kids had burgers/fries, pizza, and ice cream often. Be prepared for lots of walking. Consider investing in Faster to the Fun. You board early, leave early, and disembark for excursions early.

We had dinner in the main dining room every night, and the service and food were terrific. Buffet food was fine also

KIds enjoyed the activities. Pools were small and difficult to get into and out of for us older folks.

Show were great and the level of the talent was exceptional.

Children's Programs

Kids were 16, 15, 14, and 10. They did not find the kid's clubs useful. Ended up entertaining themselves - but there was plenty for them to do.

Service and Staff

Very excellent service from waiters and room stewards. Always attentive and quick to respond.

Ship Quality

Layout was good. Common areas were clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was okay. Could have been a little larger. Cleanliness was fine. Not enough room between the bed and the wall to the balcony.

Ship tip

Get ready for lots of walking. Seriously consider getting the Faster to the Fun option.

No excursion - walked to the beach. Local were very helpful.

Some of us took the Stingray City excursion. A terrific experience. Others went snorkeling and had a great time.

Went shopping while the kids went on the Dolphin excursion.

Disembarkation

First to the Fun gave us early disembarkation. It was fast and easy.

What time were you able to board with Faster to the Fun? We have it but our arrival time still says 1230
