My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. We were in a cove balcony this time and loved being close to the water as it was on Deck 2. Shows were exceptional on this ship and Cruise Director Mike Pack is amazing and a great CD.

Main Dining Room-Anytime Dining the service was very slow. Specialty restaurants food was much bettter and arrived faster!! Chef's Table was an amazing experience though costly!!
Onboard Activities

Lots of activities on board. Went to the pool early in the mornings and got to enjoy a ride on the sky ride which is only on the Carnival Horizon and Vista.

Loved the shows in the Liquid Lounge but didn't like the arrangement of seats. The balcony area is set up pretty bad so you can't see much of the shows. Much worse for short people like me and also the Vista is set up the same way. I was hoping the reviews for the Vista would have helped to change the design of the Horizon but that didn't happen. Very disappointed in the design. We had to get to the lounge early to get seats where we could see the stage!! The shows on this ship are the best we have ever seen on a cruise ship!! Very talented cast!!

Staff friendly. Room steward helpful. Just wait staff in dining room for Your Time Dining was very slow and not as attentive as they should be,

Loved everything about the ship except for the Liquid Lounge seating design as noted previously and also don't like that there is no walkway around the casino so you have to go right through all the smokey areas in the casino to get to the other side of that deck.

Ship tip
Elevators are set up different. You have to press the deck number on a screen outside the elevators and it tells you which elevator to get on. We didn't realize that we were supposed to press the deck number again for each number of people with you so the elevators will be more accurate so they won't stop if there isn't enough room!!
Love going to Margaritaville and also went to Jack's Shack for the first time. Enjoyed both places!! Pool water and ocean water were both enjoyable to swim in!! Didn't see any fish though when snorkeling by Jack's Shack!!
Always love going to San Juan. We went to the Rain Forest on an excursion and had a great time. Glad to see that things are recovering well after the hurricane destroyed so much last year!!
Love seeing St. Maarten. This time we took an excursion which was a boat tour to Maho Beach to see the planes flying overhead and landing nearby and also some snorkeling which we weren't able to see much of anything though.
