We loved it! Although a few things could have been better, overall it was our best and favorite Carnival cruise.

Bonsai Teppanyaki was worth every dime. Our chef was entertaining and food tasted great.
Lido was an average lido buffet. We try to avoid it as much as possible. There are too many other options than to eat there.
We had pig and anchor for lunch and loved it. Everything tasted amazing. Their Mac and cheese is some of the best I have ever eaten.
As always we like Guy’s Burgers and Blue Iguana. The breakfast burritos at Blue Iguana are one of my favorites.
Main dining
For us, our service at both the sea day brunch and main dining seemed very slow. They did offer a good variety of food. And it seemed we had more opportunities for better cuts of meat ( prime rib and fillet mignon) as well as lobster tails one evening.
Onboard Activities

Our children love waterworks. We ventured onto the ropes course which is always enjoyable. Spent our fair share of time in the pools. Our last day at sea they were abruptly closed without explanation.
Entertainment

Jo in the piano bar was amazing. Her vocal and piano skills were fabulous and her ability to relate to the people and sense of humor were fantastic. She kept it from getting vulgar or obscene.

Our 5 and 8 year old loved it. They were disappointed when e would pick them up.
Service and Staff

Our cabin steward (Marvin) was great. He was always friendly, knew our names and was very attentive. He went above and beyond.
The servers in the main dining room that we had were average. Service seemed slow.
Ship Quality

Ship was clean and well-maintained. The new elevator system seemed to have some kinks that need worked out.
Overall, we loved the ship so much that we already booked for next year.
We did Vivo beach with lunch. We were not impressed. Beach was very rocky and rough. The servers and bartenders were not very friendly. We would not do this again.
Beach day excursion
It was a nice comfortable drive. Beach was nice and included beach chairs. Just wish the massage people and hair braiders would have stayed away after the first. I thank you.
Wow! We loved the Flying Dutchmen zip line, tube ride and view from the top. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Although this was an expensive excursion, it was worth every bit of it. I highly recommend this excursion.
