Review summary

There's nothing more I can say except give Carnival Cruises a try. They put their all into giving you a great Cruise experience, however beware of hidden charges as with all cruise lines.

We only ate in the buffet areas as there is an additional cost to dine in specialty restaurants. Overall the food was good, areas were clean & service was courteous.

My least favorite stop of the cruise was Grand Turk. I felt like we were railroaded straight into the shopping plaza. The beach was overcrowded, very Rocky, in fact we know of one little girl that cut her foot very badly. The locals were everywhere aggressively selling everything from alcohol to Hair Braiding. For some that was intimidating but thankfully I am from the city one look and they knew to back up off me. But seriously though once I found my wife which took about an hour once we got separated we were able to have a good time have some drinks for about an hour, get some sun before we had to rush back to the ship. What I'm saying is it the time away from the ship was too short to enjoy. Will definitely have a better plan if we ever go again which is highly doubtful.

I especially enjoyed the ride out to the beach albeit a bit long (45 minutes each way) we saw the countryside, homes, people, mountains, trees, etc. Our guide was entertaining & informative. The beach was nice, all inclusive food and drinks made the day more enjoyable. This was an exexcursion I would recommend.
