Had a blast. Unfortunately no free drinks in casino while gambling. Got over 1000 points and still never got a free drink. Kind of a waste to me. I would cruise again, just not with carnival unless it was free
Embarkation
2 out of 5
As first time cruisers, there was very little direction.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was decent. Most of the food was bland. I would rather the cruise be cheaper and Pay for my own food.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Loved all the amenities on board.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Loved the comedy shows, the piano bar, and the epic rock show.
Children's Programs
Didn't bring kids
Service and Staff

The ships entire crew was really nice and friendly. Cam the cruise director was amazing. I made had exceptional service for the brunch.
Ship Quality

There was multiple issues I saw on this ship. The room was outdated, the fire sprinkler was leaking in the room, the lights on the left and right side of the mirror where the TV had a few burnt out bulbs, the sink stopper was broke, many rust spots on board the ship. There was a few cracked panes of glass on the lido deck stairs. Just some basic maintenance and updating is needed. The ship is 20 years old.
Cabin / Stateroom

Wish the bathroom was bigger. I'm tall so it was uncomfortable. But was clean. The bed was horrible with my back issues.
Ship tip
Do alot of research before you take the trip so you know what to do. Carry your bags on and off so it will speed up your time
You only get free drinks in the casion on Carnival if you are signed up for casino deals, it is not automatic! And you have to book under the deal code! If free drinks are that important to you, you will have to sail NCL, they are the only one I know of where the drink package is included - not just in the casino! Research!!!!!!!
I think it's 1500 points, then the drinks on us in the casino offers come in after you sail to use for future bookings. I know of NO cruise line that offers drinks for free while you gamble on that exact sailing
