Review summary

Better than expected. Crew and staff made it very enjoyable. Food choice and variety was good, we never got bored. Disappointed we were unable to hit Belize due to inclement weather, otherwise we had an enjoyable time.

Embarkation

Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Sovi and team were the absolute best in main dining room.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center surprisingly good. Pools, meh. Little small and the same people camping in them like holding on to their territorial waters. Serenity deck was a favorite.

Entertainment

Piano bar, so so. Surprised at how many songs he did not know. Karaoke bar was a blast. So many talented guests. The nightly shows were hit and miss.

Children's Programs

No kids.

Service and Staff

Sovia and team in the dining room and our room steward,Juilias and team were a joy to be around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect size. Plenty of storage space. Very comfortable.

Ship tip

When selecting an ocean view stateroom, next time I won't book under the galley. A little noisy. It was not a deal breaker, just a minor nit.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

NOLA is always fun.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Mixed feelings. The beach area was pretty good. The rest seemed a bit too manufactured. The sloth and monkey tour was fun. Next time we'll go explore on our own.

Belize City, Belize Did not visit port

Rained out. Ship did not port.

Cozumel, Mexico

We hit Isla Pasion perfectly (via the jeep driving tour). There was only ~100 people there (vs. the 600 the day before). Asking $20 for a "Cuban" cigar and not knowing the history of Cuban cigar making was laughable. Asking $300 a bottle for their tequila ... yeah/no.
