It was great to get away and not have to cook, clean or make our bed. The crew is always friendly and calls us by name. To me the piano bar was the highlight of the trip. My husband enjoyed the casino. I hide ducks and little boats which makes it lots of fun to watch people when they find them.

The dining room in the evening was pretty much the same thing for every cruise, but the breakfast in the dining room was much better. The steak house is always excellent with a great wine selection. We only ate a few times at the buffet.

We didn't go to any of the stage shows. I spent all my time in the piano bar with Adam. He was one of the best piano players I've ever seen on a carnival cruise ship. There were several my new friends that shut him down every night, he was so good! Not only did he play the piano but the harmonica at the same time. I can't say enough good things about him. He really made this cruise enjoyable.

Everyone was great. Rommel was our room steward and he was great. Whenever you saw him, you would ask him how he was doing and he would say "I'm always good"!

The Glory is one of the older ships and it was maintained as well as it could be. The common areas were always clean with someone cleaning all the time.
Cabin / Stateroom

We've always gotten an inside room, but got a good deal on the balcony. we loved the extra space and the couch. Rommel kept the room spic and span!
Ship tip
Check out the piano bar. I think this is Adams last week on the Glory though.
We've been to this ports several times, so we didn't do any excursions. We love that we can pull in the parking garage, drop our luggage off, park and go straight to check in.
