Review summary

I have been in more than 10 cruises and have never had the worst experience until now. Starting for letting Carnival choose our cabin. They sent us to the 1st deck (room 1295). First three nights with A/C damaged, noises coming from the Deck 0 during the night because the crew work apparently during the night. After three hot days and trying to fight with customer service they decided to change us to the 2nd floor. After moved to the 2nd floor the toilet was not working. So, another wait to be able to sleep well that night. How can you explain your kids of 12 and 11 years old that drugs can be consumed on a cruise? People smoking weed in cabins and around the top deck closer to the kids area. My kids already know how to identify who is smoking weed. Learned on a Carnival Cruise incredible. Food very dissaponted. The quality is not the same. Steaks uff the most nasty and greasy steaks I had to eat in my life. Been on the Carnival Breeze years ago and we loved the food. Now was terrible. Very dissaponted.

Food quality and variety is not the same as before specially in the steaks. Buffet not too many options like used to be before. Buffet food seems not to be fresh.

Enjoy activities except the pool. Very crowded. Impossible to be relax at the pool specially when they are so small and a lot of drunk and crazy people there.

Enjoyed the latin show at the Casino Bar floor 5. Loved the Orchestra from Dominican Republic.

Windows dirty, pool bathrooms too. Hate to see people smoking weed around the ship specially closer where my kids were playing basketball and volleyball. Carnival crew doesn't care about that.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very small. Terrible experience with the noice on floor 0 during the night. Barely slept well the first 3 nights. A/C was not working. We had to request a change. They changed us after our 2nd request and getting mad with customer service.

Ship tip

Go to Royal Caribbean better.

I really think it has a lot to do with the port this ship is sailing from and the clientele. We were just on the valor and there were people smoking full blown blunts out in the open and walking through lido with a blunt in their mouth. It was insane. Sorry you had this experience!

Never let the cruise line pick your cabin they always pick the worst . The weed smoking is out of control has been for a while security does nothing don't want to make your passengers angry I guess. Don't rule out carnival because of one cruise hopefully you will give it another try.

I am so sorry to hear this, wish you would have had a better cruise. We were on that ship once, several years ago. We were not real impressed with it.
