Great, restful cruise that was a welcome return to cruising.

The port itself was missing staff and suffered a computer crash that did slow things down an hour or so. No biggie.

The Golden was excellent, and had a great staff. Food was interesting and tasty. The buffet was a pleasant surprise and usually offered things not available in the dining rooms. The steakhouse was very enjoyable.
Onboard Activities

The Serenity Deck was wonderful, plenty of room and has its own bar. One of my favorite hangouts is the Aft pool area.
Entertainment

We did three shows in the Amber Palace, and three nights in the Piano Bar (aka Cinnabar.) K'Mar is a good entertainer who works with a smile on his face and in his voice. He also seems to know how to handle 'those' people who attempt to be the center of attention.
Service and Staff

Outstanding service came with a smile, but didn't impose on you either. They just seemed to be there when needed. Um...just don't expect to order a drink on deck two of the Amber Palace!
Ship Quality

The layout is the standard one of the Conquest and Spirit class, meaning you can't walk through Decks 3 & 4 without detouring. We loved it. The Promenade is very pleasant and has lots of sunshine, the coffee bar, Alchemy, Cinnabar, etc.
Cabin / Stateroom

We got this, our first inside room, with a super great rate. We felt it was a bit smaller than a balcony, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

If you have anytime dining, remember to use the Glass elevator section to get there!
