We were on that cruise and yes, there was a delay. It happens everywhere. As for the most European of American cities, we love visiting. So many great places to be and to visit!

We were on the same cruise, we heard it was the facial reconation was the issue. They were about an hour late boarding anyone. We were inside, very very crowded. I can only imagine having to stand in line.

I have cruised out of New Orleans before, and have visited the city many times. This time the port was very disorganized and it was right after Mardi Gras, so not at its best. I live closer to Galveston and have had better experiences there. Personal choice.

At least when we had a two hour wait on the Panorama last month, they explained why (bad weather and seas caused a late arrival). But that alone should not cause you to hate NO, from what friends who have been there say, it is a great town to visit. Not boarding when expected sounds like a poor reason to not want to go there again.
