Overall we really enjoyed our cruise. The crew treated us wonderfully. The food was decent. The comedians were good. The ports were good. Embarkation and disembarkation were great.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Best embarkation of the 7 cruises I've taken
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Best cruise ship coffee so far. The buffet and mdr were good. I really enjoyed Pizza Pirate and Guy's burgers. I didn't care for the ice cream, pretty sure it's made with water and not milk/cream. The service was always good but I would really like to see them pushing the hand sanitizer. It's a bit unhandy, therefore many aren't seeing/using it. Hundreds or more came home with influenza A. Including us sadly.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We didn't participate in any activities. Just watched. A couple times we went to join in and it was a different activity than was advertised on the hub app.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We enjoyed three out of the 4 comedians. We didn't enjoy the stage shows at all. The dj and other musicians were good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We were treated very well by all staff.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
I didn't like that you couldn't walk all the way around on deck 3 and the ladies room by the Blue Iguana was consistently dirty and out of paper and soap. Otherwise the ship was fine.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
This was our first time in an interior room and we loved it. It was roomy and comfortable. Less passenger foot traffic but more foot traffic/carts rolling by from the room stewards. I hate to say but I didn't appreciate the loud music in the hallway. We were sick the last couple days and had to wear earplugs to nap.
Ship tip
Wash your hands lots and always use hand sanitizer. Influenza A is running rampant!
We took the water shuttle into Belize and walked through the shops for a bit. Great deals on purses here. I think this port had the cheapest shopping if you need. They rely on tourism and really appreciate your business.
Yep, always have hand sanitizer with you. Even if you wash your hands before heading to the buffet, you are contaminated again after touching the utensils to get your food.
