Review summary

No complaints as to the service received at all, whether from wait staff, room steward, customer service desk, ship was wonderful etc. Food was wonderful everywhere on the ship. Only issues were the Muster Drill where people would not quiet down and the Glory staff truly tried to quiet them and for Debarkation, people need to read and listen to the information given out.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Carnival and the Port definitely had the A-game going on, we hit the ground running and the whole process was super fast, waited about 30 minutes and we were on the ship. Only one major complaint is that people could not be quiet for the muster drill, never understood a word of it because of people talking loud and laughing, and the Glory staff tried hard to quiet them.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Wait staff was excellent in the main dining room and buffets. Seafood shack was a must try for us, it was OK. We did the Steakhouse (previous experience on Dream was awesome), this time it was so-so, next time we will just go to the MDR and order steakhouse selection there.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of activities at all times, we went to some, but we were here to relax more this time. The kids enjoyed the kids clubs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Stage shows were awesome, musicians through out the ship were awesome, Cookie the cruise director is awesome too !!!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
they thoroughly enjoyed the kids clubs and activities

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All were awesome, no complaints !!!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and maintained, as with any ship, you just have to study the ship and learn the paths to get where you want to go, most challenging is usually getting to the back dining room like on this ship. My one wish would be to have the kids clubs all on the same level.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very nice cabin for 2 adults and 2 children.

Ship tip

SImply enjoy !!!!!!!!!

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana Did not visit port

We drive in from an hour away, we do not visit New Orleans, we go straight to the port.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Always enjoy Cozumel, we just shop off the pier.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

1 out of 5
Shopped off the pier, have no desire to go into the town, heard its dirty.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was fast, would have been better if people would read the info you receive in your cabin and listen to the announcements and staff.

Sometimes the worst part about any cruise is your fellow passengers. Glad you could overlook that and enjoy your adventure. Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising.
