Carnival changed so much to save money and forgot the cruiser. Cheers drink now $68 per day,....10 drinks to be worth it

Embarkation

Flew into Miami airport and carnival has their own booth at the airport which was cool 2 years ago. You do not get your sail and sign card and you have to use your paper ticket til 1:30 when you are allowed to go to the room. Only one place open to smoke while at port and that was the casino. To many times to show your proof of cruise. Carnival porter to pushie for tip for just making you give them your bag and expect money.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Buffets food was the worst I have seen for carnival unless you like chicken as your meat. Orange juice lemonade, coffee, tea and water is the only drinks now. Lobster tail was very tiny, a lot smaller than 2oz of meat.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
All pools were open and clean and only 2 outdoor smoking areas

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Had some boring entertainers that could not play a song request because they did not know it. I don’t think carnival interviews them before they hire them..... just fills the spot for the ships entertainment

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
The staff has to make the best of what Carnival program and new policies are but they were awesome.

Ship Quality

The Glory was very hard to figure out how to get thru the maze with what elevator you could take to get to what area of the shop.

Cabin / Stateroom

Awesome for a small room

Ship tip

Old shop need updating, needs better floor plans. Deck 5 aft elevator only goes to restaurant and not the rest of the deck

We did the zip lining for $50 and the 2 tour guides were to pushie to give them $20 for a better zip line and made me feel very uncomfortable as we had to repeatedly say no and then at the end pushed for $20 tip or they would not get paid that day.

Again only one place to smoke and they pushed you out of your cabin. My flight was 1pm and we just made it. Sat on ship till 10am TSA customs was the problem no staffing. Guess that was the boarding problem as well. Miami TSA understaffed and no clear direction to us of what was expected for us to do before getting up to them. Very unorganized and unprofessional, it was like this was the first day for all of them.
