Review summary

Overall the cruise was great. We had a couple of situations where staff members were not as kind an approachable as others. Many of the passengers were rude, greedy, and disrespectful. Our room was great and our steward, Benjamin, was awesome! Had some minor issues in the arcade and casino, but we were provided assistance quickly and without difficulty, Pedro was great and made hanging out in the casino a blast. Our daughter loved the camp, however a few of the staff members were difficult to interact with; a few times when attempting to clarify schedules the camp staff was impatient and on edge. The excursions we did were amazing and the ports were fun to explore and shop at. Everything was good until disembarkation, it took us almost 2 hrs to get off the ship, get our luggage, get through customs and get outside. LOTS of passengers were leaving the ship well before their numbers were called and people were gathering in areas and on levels they were not supposed to. All of this slowing down the process and making it miserable for others. Where there should have been order, lines, and checkpoints, we were instead met with no staff or very few staff, all of which were rude, unhelpful and dismissive. My pregnant wife, our 3 year old daughter and myself were sweating, without water(we had no reason to think it would take so long), and no access to restrooms along the path to get out. Getting off the ship and through the port was so bad that if this is the norm(which I hear it is not) I would have a hard time finding it worth it. Especially compounded by the lack of concern, care, or hospitality by both the Carnival and Port staff during disembarkation.

When youve got thousands of people on a ship, things sometimes don't go as planned, especially when inconsiderate people are involved.
