Review summary

I am undecided if I would partake in cruising again. Had I known excursions were needed to enjoy the ports I could have financially planned for one in each port. That in turn gets quite costly, considering flight, cruise & excursions. 7 days 4 ports plan on $2500.00 for the week each person.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffets had plenty of choices for every dietary desires the staff were always helpful and pleasant. Specialties were very good, although I didn't get a chance to try the sandwich spot, Mexican food, sushi or Seafood Spot Aft Deck near adult pool. All looked delightful when watching others indulge. Sorry I missed them! Our Evening dining was perfectly delightful, the staff was awesome as well. I've tried foods I had never eaten, Braised Oxen tongue appetizer, Frogs legs, and Mango Cream soup... I would definitely eat these selections again!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There was plenty to do all around the ship. I used the walking deck, I relaxed beside the pool, I went to the movies. With different company I would have did more.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Musicians were so very talented, the comedy shows were a bit short but great!

Children's Programs

I had no children with me, I didn't pay mind to those venues

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All wonderful and friendly

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I was disappointed with the lack of functioning Soap dispensers in several of the ladies restrooms. That should always be plentiful and available!! Hand sanitizing stations were available in sight outside the restrooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Always clean and made up perfectly. I did notice the shower curtain was beginning to mold at the bottom of the hem ( pinkish) I did not tell anyone on board. This is something housekeeping should keep in mind for the future.

Ship tip

Plan to purchase excursions at every port you dock so you can enjoy the country you just sailed to. Otherwise all you can do is eat or buy souvenirs.

We all have a pattern for traveling!! I usually book Carnival's new ships 1 1/2-2 yrs in advance. I fly for free with points and stay in a hotel with points. Last time I was on the Glory was 2011. Depending on the port... I relax on the ship or may schedule an excursion. The more money I save...the more cruises I can take!..lol. No matter what we spend I feel fortunate that I can even go on vacation. Enjoy!

We book excursions a year in advance while I'm paying on the cruise😉

Or u can stay on boat and have most of the areas to yourself! We always stay on in Belize 👍

I've never booked excursions and I've always enjoyed the ports. If you're not into shopping then you can always take a taxi to the beach or to explore local attractions.

You can always book your excursion with outside venders. Much cheaper

I took 8 on a cruise 2 years ago for $7000 total. You must have expensive tastes.

Ours is around $2500 total.

Even with excursions we have never spent $2500 per person

We don't always do excursions. There should still be lots to do!
