Don't go on the Glory. Recommend you try another ship—one that isn't so outdated.

Food and Dining

The most spectacular meal I had was Chef's Table. It's an extra $75/pp but so worth it. It's a hell of an experience lead by a head chef of the ship and you get a tour of the galley then a private chef's menu/tasting with a small group of people. Wine pairing included. Great experience! Highly recommend for everyone who loves food.
However, all other food was just ok and I have to say, not very impressive at all.
DO NOT GET THE ALCOHOL PACKAGE. It's the Cheers! package. It's about $56/person per night. EVERYONE in the room has to get it (wouldn't it suck if you're with someone who doesn't drink??). Anyway, it came out to about $950 with taxes included for 2 people. Think about if you're going to get of the ship on port days. If not, it COULD be worth it, otherwise, just do them as one offs.
Onboard Activities

A LOT of raffles, bingos, prizes etc. They also try to sell you on a lot of items—jewelry, skin care, etc. It felt like HSN/QVC on water.
Entertainment

They switch up the comedians halfway through the cruise (we were on a 7-day). They were funny. One was an acquired taste. He's extremely vulgar and redundant on his material. His material offended some people who ultimately left mid-show.
Service and Staff

Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for Marie from Switzerland. She was at Guest Services and was very terse/curt.
Ship Quality

VERY outdated ship. Very ugly. Our floor (8th) smelled of septic 75% of the time.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very ugly. Everything is pink. Couch had pink plastic seats. The vent would release smells of what smells like septic. I don't know but my partner was very upset about it. Overall, we lounged a bit in the room and thankful for the balcony to escape the smell of the room sometimes but it was just an eyesore.
Royal Pams = extremely overpriced. $15 to rent an umbrella? $12 to rent a beach chair? $2 entrance fee?! They really get you. and the beach is very small/crowded because EVERYONE from every cruise line comes here.
I never understood why people complain about the decor of the ship. There is natural beauty right outside and youre worried about the color of the toilet? Everybody has an opinion but seems to me if youre on vacation you should be happy youre not working and are able to enjoy the simple things
Lol nelmsw. Some one else said something about sewage smell on another ship I saw earlier, and all I could thunk was you need to quit walking near the gassy people.
We were on the Glory last year. Had a great time, yeah the color palette isn't quite to my preferences but it was clean, comfortable. The people were great. I didn't have to cook or clean for a week. Food is subjective, and if you are a foodie, cruise food really isn't for you.
Sorry you had a bad experience. We were on the Glory a few years ago. It was great. The only time I smelled anything sewer or septic related, was when I farted. Food, maybe not the best, but it was quite good.
Cruising is not for you but at least you gave it ago
A bit more research about the ship and ports may have led you to pick something different that you may have enjoyed more.
