Review summary
We went to Half Moon Cay and swam with the Stingrays (fun)! From St. Thomas we took an excursion to snorkel at St. John's Trunk Bay - beautiful. We had a bit of an issue with the weather but still a good time. San Juan was fun. The Fort (can't remember the name but it started with a C and is basically in Old Town) was really cool, especially the dungeon but it was quite the hike! Grand Turk was one of my favorites because you could snorkel right at the beach and the gear only cost $10 for the whole day. The fish were beautiful!
The ship (Carnival Glory) could use some help with the food. A lot of it was bland. There were a few highlights but for the most part, nothing to write home about. Their disembarkation process didn't work too well on this cruise. I don't know if it's always this disorganized and slow but we were not happy with our experience! Also, at Grand Turk they opened the gangway for only about 15 min and then closed it again for about an hour so the Carnival Magic could dock. Not too many passengers were happy about that!!!
Based on the food, disembarkation and the issue at Grand Turk, I would not recommend the Glory! However, most of the crew were wonderful and some of them were awesome! Overall, it was OK.
