Review summary

Cabins 2412, 2416, 2420, 2424 should not be used as they are right below the galley and our sleep was interrupted every night due to the activity above the cabin. The guest services folks were unable to get the noise stopped so our experience to say the least was not very positive.

Made that same mistake before.. It really is a bummer. But I promise you'll always look at deck maps from now on... I study them before I book now... One cruise with no good sleep was enough! LoL

I check ship deck plans and book the cabin I want myself.

yes, I take my marpac-dohm white noise machine. blocks alot of those annoying ticks.

I agree, ship/deck map works. pay attention for random spaces on map too. Closets, store rooms, utility. Also, you would know if your cabin was above nightclub, next to laundry etc. I made sure to be close to elevators but not directly next to them where people may congregate. norhing like a loud mouth spilling business or yelling outside your cabin door.

have a lot of drinks and use ear plugs after 4am. :)

Check the deck maps before you book your next cruise, that way there will not be any unwanted surprises. I hope your next experience is much better.
