Review summary

We had a good time and had been on the Glory before. Our first experience was much better than our recent trip. The food was good, but not as good. Our biggest complaints were how loud the ship has become. The shows and deck were so loud that my wife and I had to wear ear protection. Getting off the ship was always a problem. It took way to long. When we returned to the final port it took hours to get off of the Glory. Even at ports of call it alway took too long. Smokers took up the Lido deck, so between them and the noise we stayed away from that area. Staff members never say anything to unsupervised children, so if their parents not interested the kids just run wild. The entertainment was sometimes good and sometimes average. Again alway ear pounding loud. On the good side the staff and crew are helpful and polite. I think the ship and cabins are clean. We will not go on Carnival again.

The general dinning staff were excellent. The food was good, but not as good as it was the last time we were on the Glory. The entertainment during dinning was not as good as last time.

The comedy shows were great. The regular shows have come down quite a bit. Some were good and some were average. The noise level is awful. My wife and I had to were ear protection.

I only ran into one rude staff member. Everybody else was gresat.

The ship was clean but way overcrowded. There is only one pool where you can go where there are no smokers and loud noise so there never was any room. The ship is designed well but is starting to show its age.

Cabin / Stateroom

The stateroom was excellent. We had a balcony and really enjoyed it. We were on the 8th floor and had a lot of noise above us. It sounded like somebody dragging heaving furniture for several hours a day. Other than that the room was outatanding and always kept clean and service.

We did a kayaking and snorkeling combo. The kayaking was a waste of time. We were hurried and saw nothing. The snorkeling was outstanding. The staff was friendly.

We went to a private island and did swiming and snorkeling. They had animals to see and even a private pool. It was great an outstanding lunch and great snorkeling.
