Carnival's GLORY has a terrible layout: you feel like you're living in Chutes & Ladders by having to go up to a specific floor to get to the back of the ship and having to go down to another floor to get to the front of the ship . . . we were on the Glory 7 days and were never completely "comfortable" with the crazy layout of the ship.

We were disappointed with most meals, but did enjoy a couple of dinners.

Entertainment

The comedians were first rate and the shows very good.

Ship Staff were mostly very friendly and corteous.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Horrible ship layout; bizarre decor!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Although we chose an interior cabin, felt it was pretty comfortable.

LL Bean shops and other outlets in Freeport, ME - about 30 minutes from Portland.
Don't Miss: You must have the lobster stew at Gilbert's Chowder House, very close to the ship.

Excursions on the water.

Boston Common; Newbury Street shops and restaurants; Quincy Market.
Don't Miss: Have the lobster roll sushi on Newbury Street.

Excursions on the water.

Pros: Ports of call. Steakhouse.

Cons: Layout of the ship and poor quality of most of the food in the buffet areas

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.
