Review summary

We sailes on the Carnival Glory. We have been on a cruise before with another cruise line, and we were not very impressed by Carnival. The ship itself was very hard to find your way around. If you wanted to get from one end of the boat to the other you had to go up and down levels just to do it. The were doing repairs to the boat while we were loading the boat. It was a fun experience because of the excursions and the ports that we went to, but the time that we spent on the boat was just okay.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food was very bland. You could tell that the meat was all mass produced. The steaks did not have any flavor, the chicken was dry, and everything needed some kind of seasonng added. The breakfast buffet was the same thing every morning with no variety.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were awesome. We went to the comedy show and a couple of the dancing and singing shows. They were very impressive

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The entertainment staff was great. The waiter staff was not very good. We ate dinner in the assigned dining room every night. Our waiter paid more attention to the older tables that spoke the same anguage as him. He only came to us once a night to see if we needed anything. The assistant waiter was awesome! The room attendant constantly bothered us to get out of our room so that he could clean it. He repeatedly knocked on the door and asked us if we were leaving so he could take care of the room. Even when we had the do not disturb sign up!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship layout was very confusing. The public areas were kept farely clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The bed was uncomfortable. We had a balcony room and the size of the room was great.

If you are going to book and expedition, you need to book one here. There is nothing to do in the actual port.

Pros: The excursions were the best part of the whole cruise!

Cons: The flavor and the variety of the food was not impressive
