Review summary

Great fun, even the casino was a bit more generous than usual.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation was a bit of a mess but we take these things in stride. There were a lot of platinum and diamond members so no priority boarding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good on both the formal dining room and buffet. The staff is so hard working. The restaurants were mostly clean, except for the food left on the chairs and benches when the tables were wiped. My only complaint is that formal dining room staff would take our unused silverware and put it on a table as new silverware even though we touched it to move it. Did not think that was good practice.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of things to do even during the 5 days at sea at one time.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Good entertainment and Andy, our cruise director was the best.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room Steward on deck 2, Clauvet was impressive and detail oriented. He kept the ice coming, the bathroom super clean and always made time to chat with us and call us by name. He never faltered during the whole 14 days. Other guests even came to tell him they wished he was their room Steward. We loved him and did not hesitate to leave him an extra tip.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Staff worked hard too keep the ship clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
One of the best room stewards ever. Clauvet made all the difference.

Ship tip

Bring your patience getting on and off the ship. We heard of plumbing issues on decks 7 and 8.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Disembarkation could have gone better. They called our luggage tags early but luggage was not out so port staff kept us waiting in long lines. Very unorganized. Too rushed to get us off the ship.
