Review summary

All and All I wouldn't want to travel on this ship again. We enjoyed ourselves because of the friends traveling with us. Its time to bring this ship into modern day. Sorry Carnival-

Pretty organized; I forgot to print my boarding passes. No problem, they had a place to get them printed off. Easy- Peasy.

Food was just ok; drinks were good, especially enjoyed the edible flavored straws in my frosty cocktails

enjoyed the 21 and over area; pool was small and full of children-never got into the pool. Had a GREAT massage on last day at sea by "Mona Lisa"

LOVED the cruise director, Andy!!! He was hysterical and really got the crowd involved. Especially enjoyed the 80's Dance party on the lido deck.

Definitely an older ship that needs a whole new revamp. Was not impressed by the dark and wild design choices. The cabin bathroom would occasionally smell and some of the ship baths had disgusting smells too! It was like the boat couldn't process all the people on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was nice-really enjoyed the balcony; bed was comfortable HOWEVER it was below DECK 9 (pool, buffets) AVOID AT ALL COSTS.... we heard loud noises above throughout the night. Didnt sleep well most nights because of the noises-sounded like people running, workers pushing heavy carts, stomping....

Ship tip

Bring a mug/tumbler to fill up on drinks. You can bring water bottles/sodas but find out the restrictions.

Thanks for the review... we agree totally about the Freedom. We sailed on her this past janaury and while we enjoyed the cruise immensely, the ship leaves a lot to be desired... it definitely needs a dry dock and an update. .
