Over all it was a great vacation for just the two of us. Better instructions for Wifi access are needed. The first night the line for guest services was HUGE because no one could access the Wifi.
Embarkation

The only down fall was we had to pick a time to embark but it really there was really no purpose
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was okay, the buffet always made sure there was enough food for everyone. It was just cheap, and did not taste the greatest. The bartenders questioned you when you if you got a virgin drink which I thought was rude as well. Our waiter also talk very fast and was difficult to under stand.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
They did always make sure there were things to do. The comedians were GREAT. Roman was hilarious! There could have been more bingo or game nights, but they did not short on activities. My husband said the gym was great, getting to watch the sun rise was a great experience for him.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We really only went to comedy shows, which were great Roman was awesome. I am upset I missed the Love and Marriage show I kept hearing it was hilarious.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff was really friendly and high energy. Our cruise director James was wonderful and always kept us informed. Our stateroom attendant was phenomenal (Agus) he remembered our names and checked with us to make sure what times were good to clean our room. If we told him to give us more time he always did out room was always cleaned and in tip top shape when we came back. Also, my coffee guy Berli was AMAZING! The other gentleman that worked with him in the morning was great too, I just didn't catch his name. They both made a FANTASTIC cappuccinos which is always a great start to the morning. Everyone was generally very pleasant though.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ships layout was confusing. Numerous times I heard people say they were getting lost, and the only maps available were the ones next to the elevators. Even then they weren't that descriptive. Sometimes they would close off parts of the ship too and you were not sure if you could go through certain areas. Certain elevators only when to certain floors. A map of the ship should be put in all the rooms.
Cabin / Stateroom

We actually had a room when a window which was great! Our room was great for just my husband and I wish we would have had a little table to eat at by the couch, but it might have over crowded the room.
I wish there was an option to go to pig island that you could purchase before arriving. The ones available when you got there were scams, the one we went on was not great. The docking area as super crowed too. A lot of the stores were not open either because it was a Sunday.
The beach was beautiful, it would have been nice to know there were two sides to the island. A lot of people didn't realize there was a south side. I was also supposed to get to go swimming with the stingrays but they pushed back my time so I couldn't go otherwise I would have missed the boat back to the ship. They did refund me though.
This was A LOT of what we had already seen and there were too many boats around to really get to see anything when we were snorkeling. It would have been nice if the area for the free beach chairs were marked off too. As soon as you got there everyone was up in your face about renting beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool was SUPER over crowded too. We didn't stay very long on this island.
Iām glad you enjoyed a great cruise experience on the Carnival Freedom. We also enjoyed our Freedom cruise earlier this October. We sometimes used the deck maps in the app before leaving our cabin or before heading to some of our chosen activities. Repetition always helps me but by the time I get comfortable with the layout the cruise is ending. I guess I need to take more repeat cruises on the same ship, thus our first repeat cruise on the Magic is now booked. Thank you for taking the time to share your review. š
