Out of 17 cruise from Galveston we have never had a bad embarkation. Everyone has always been cheerful and polite. I've met rude cruisers but never port staff.

I concur about the Galveston staff they were very hit and miss in Feb of 2019. So some things never change I suppose!

Sailed several times out of Galveston, met some jerks, but met mostly extremely friendly people. A ton of fun things to do there, it's what you make of it.

A cruise from almost 4 yrs ago! You should state that up front in the review section. The port may have improved significantly and conversely the ship and or port of calls could have degraded.
