8 day out of Galveston with Carnival was a Great Vacation. Ports included Key West Freeport Nassau and my personal favorite Half Moon Cay. I would recommend highly this cruise. There are Bigger prettier newer boats but the crew and Cruise Director made up for any short comings. GREAT OLD BOAT. .

Didn't eat at any specialty restaurants. Main dining was always good. The Lido Deck bufrets were Just ok. The Breakfast buffet was not very good at all.

Entertainment

The Shows were diffrent this time than what I had seen in the past. I really enjoyed the new shows. A LOT......
Service and Staff

From Bar Tenders to room steward AND A special shot out to Aries from the Philippines who was our Dining room waiter were wonderful. Each took time to learn your name your likes and dislikes. I wished I could give them higher than a 5 stars.
Ship Quality

The crew took pride on the Freedom always cleaning and scrubing.
Cabin / Stateroom

You get what you pay for. An inside cabin is small but that is why they are the cheapest rooms. No Complaint here. I don't go on cruises to enjoy the room...
Ship tip
If Emma is your Cruise Director go to her shows even if you have seen it 35 times before. She is incredible and makes it a lot of fun.
The staff did a really good job with this. I feel like Platinum And diamond members have earned the right to have the privilege of getting off ahead of everybody and the police it well. A lot of people try to jump ahead and it's not aloud.
Next time you're in Key West, do the hop-on-hop-off trolley. Get off at places and then wait for the next trolley. You will need to pay admission. Hemingway's House, with the 6-toed cats, is a must-see. Kermit's Key Lime Pie Shoppe has delicious frozen chocolate covered key lime pie slices on a stick. The trolley drivers are funny and informative.
